Meet our Founder and Educational Consultant

Laura Jones founded Halo Educational Solutions with a passion for helping students overcome obstacles, build confidence, and achieve lasting success in mathematics. With over 14 years of experience teaching secondary mathematics and over a decade of experience in special education, Laura has dedicated her career to supporting students with diverse learning needs, both general and special education, including ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, autism, giftedness, and twice-exceptionality.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of West Georgia, a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction, and a Graduate Certificate in Special Education Leadership from the University of Cincinnati. She holds Georgia teaching certifications in Secondary Mathematics, Special Education, and Elementary Education.

Throughout her career, Laura has been demonstrated her ability to support students with complex learning profiles and to collaborate effectively with families and school teams. Her approach combines evidence-based instructional practices with individual educational planning, empowering families with practical solutions that help students thrive both academically and personally.

Whether working with students through individualized math instruction, guiding homeschool families, or helping parents navigate learning differences and educational decisions, Laura’s goal is always the same: to provide personalized support that builds confidence, fosters understanding, and equips every student to reach their God-given potential.
